Guiding Questions for Parents.

Definition of Cooperation for 4 - 7 year olds: Cooperation happens when two or more people help each other to make something good happen. It can also apply to animals or parts of a whole that need each other and work together.  An example of this is the human body – all the parts work together to make you healthy. In a nutshell: Together we can do more.  Summary: Examples of how we’re better together entertain and inform readers about the benefits of community and cooperation. Children get new ideas about how to contribute their actions to making life better. The narrator, a young girl, tells the story with confidence and excitement - she is a good role model!    Lesson Objectives:
  1. Students feel encouraged to try out some of the ideas in this book. They are reminded to contribute their actions and words to making life better, because it helps others - an added bonus is that the giver feels good, too.
