Definition of Cooperation for 4 - 7 year olds: Cooperation happens when two or more people help each other to make something good happen. It can also apply to animals or parts of a whole that need each other and work together. An example of this is the human body – all the parts work together to make you healthy. In a nutshell: Together we can do more. Summary: The benefits of teamwork and collaboration are explained and illustrated in an entertaining way that young children can enjoy. Teachers can display parts of this book, such as the list of how teams work, and refer to it during the year. Learning Objectives:

Students practice and improve their teamwork skills during class activities and at home.
After reading the story, teachers can guide an activity in which students need to work together. There’s an example in the book.
