Definition : Service is doing something nice or helpful for someone else. Summary: Miss Tizzy is an elderly woman who is dearly loved by the children in her neighborhood. Why is she so adored? She spends time everyday doing fun activities with her young companions. They pick flowers from her yard, help Miss Tizzy bake cookies, put on puppet shows, make marching music, draw pictures, play dressup, roller skate and more. When their beloved Miss Tizzy falls ill one day, the children are sad and perplexed until they  come up with an idea to give back and help Miss Tizzy get well!    Lesson Objectives: 
  1. Students become more interested in getting to know the elderly people in their family and community. They brainstorm some ways they could reach out and get involved in their lives.
