Summary:
Some of Mrs. Ruler’s students are misbehaving. While most of the kids go out for recess, she meets with the children who were being mean to one another. Mrs. Ruler explains that it’s not cool to be mean, and she asks them to practice kindness instead. She challenges them to perform five acts of kindness during the rest of the week and they do it! Then Mrs. Ruler decides to challenge everyone in the class to collectively perform 100 acts of kindness. Each act is recorded on a paper heart and posted in the classroom, and when the goal is met they have a big celebration.
