Definition: A friend is someone you like spending time with because they make you feel happy and special, and help you when you need it. In short: Build bonds that last forever. Summary: Wordy Birdy is annoying because she talks constantly and is not the world’s best listener, to put it mildly. This behavior gets her into trouble when she ignores a “Danger Ahead” sign. Her friends warn her but she doesn’t pay attention and runs into a dangerous bear. Fortunately her friends rescue her, and Wordy Birdy finally realizes she should listen! Lesson Objectives:
